Land into Shanghai airport and our Sandhills Travel team will be waiting for you at the airport. We help you aboard our comfortable coaches and drive you straight to your luxury hotel for a deserved rest.

After a well-rested night, we head straight into the vibrant heart of Shanghai to explore the infamous Yu Garden, complete with stunning nature, temples and teahouses. After which we head to the Shanghai Temple of the Town God and marvel at its excellent architecture.

Our evening consists of a relaxing discovery of classical Shanghai, including a walk through Tianzifang, which is a hub of activity for local artists and boutique stores.

Our Shanghai adventure comes to a close with a look around Bund Street, the waterfront area of the city. But you won’t have to settle for these views of the city’s skyline as hop aboard a relaxing evening cruise – perfect for a holiday photo!

We then take our private tour to Zhangjiajie via a 2.5-hour flight in the morning. Once in Zhangjiajie, we will give you plenty of time to settle into your new luxury hotel and then head to the Zhangjiajie National Park. It is here where you can bask in glorious panoramic views and even walk along the tallest glass bridge in the world (if you have the courage!)

Zhangjiajie is all about unspoiled nature and we’ll continue to show you the best spots, including a trip to visit the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the park and enjoy the soothing nature.

Our afternoon will be a drive to Fenghuang. This journey does take three hours but don’t worry. We provide the very best private transport equipped with air conditioning.

Your ride to Fenghuang will provide you with some extraordinary views of China, but the views when you arrive are something else. This unique slice of China is made up of 13 ancient town on the water and harbours distinct cultures and languages.

Whether you admire the one-of-a-kind building, take photos or enjoy a relaxing boating tour of the area, you’re certain to have a memorable visit that other tourists do not experience often.

After an exciting trip to these ancient towns, we get back on the road for 4-5 hours on premium private transport and head to the Longji Terraced Rice Fields. This breathtaking vista of swirling terraced rice fields as they tumble down to the valley edge is not an image you will ever forget. Simply sublime!

Next we take a tour hour ride in private cars to Guilin and explore the Moon and Sun Pagoda. The evening is completely yours to enjoy, but we do have some top recommendations to look out for in Guilin.

From Guilin we hop aboard a beautiful cruise ship and set off for Yangshuo, a place with a natural skyline like no other, boasting green peaks overlooking the Li River. Look out for the famous Moon Hill!

The next day we will spend it on land, exploring the delights of Yangshuo. We will take you bamboo rafting, and then the evening is yours to admire the unique view or simply wind back and relax.

On the 11^th day of your private China tour we head back to Guilin (two-hour ride) and take a flight to Xian (approx. two hours).

We’ll help you check-in at your special Xian hotel and give you time to relax from the journey or explore Xian’s bustling nightlife.

Xian is famous for one of the modern world’s best discoveries, The Terracotta Army. This is a full army encompassing thousands of life-sized soldiers that were buried with an ancient Chinese emperor. See them for yourself and hear the full story with us.

We wind down the day with an idyllic bike ride of the Ming Dynasty Walls.

But Xian isn’t just about important burial art discoveries. We also provide tours of the famous Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and an informative stroll around the city’s Muslim Quarter. On the evening we take a 2.5-hour flight to Beijing, the last stop on our renowned China tour.

We start your Beijing adventure by taking you on a tour of the Temple of Heaven, one of Beijing’s most beautiful and famous landmarks. This can only be beaten by a trip to The Great Wall of China, as we head to a beautiful section of the wall. After a local dinner, we then go on a unique night walk of the wall.

Beijing has so much to see and do, but you won’t miss out on the best trips with us. Our penultimate day includes a trip to the majestic Forbidden City and Summer Palace. Whereas our evening explores the Bell and Drum Tower and an adventure through the Hutong District with an exciting Rickshaw Tour.

We say our heartfelt goodbyes and chauffeur you from the hotel to Beijing Airport in time for your departure.
