Our touring team will be waiting for your arrival into Beijing airport. Once you’ve picked up your bags, look out for our friendly smiles. We’ll get you aboard private luxury coaches and head straight to the hotel, where you can unwind or meet other guests on our private tour.
Your first day on the tour will include a private exploration of Beijing’s world-famous Forbidden City. This palace complex is a masterpiece and iconic location not to be missed. You’ll experience it with knowledgeable guides before heading to Tiananmen Square.
Our afternoon trip takes us to Beihai Park, complete with 11th century palaces and temples. It is one of China’s largest and most beautiful parks – an outdoor oasis like no other!
After a comfortable sleep in your stellar hotel, we explore Beijing for a second day. This time we’ll head to other landmarks, including a morning at the Temple of Heaven, which is an imperial temple and boasts prestigious Chinese architecture.
After a mid-day break for you to relax at the hotel and grab a bite to eat, we set off to China’s most famous landmark of all, the Great Wall. We take you to a beautiful section of the wall known as the Simatai area and even guide you on a unique night tour of the wall.
Our final day exploring Beijing is as exciting as the first. We start the day by guiding you around the Summer Palace and its ensemble of places and calming lakes, before heading to the Bell and Drum Tower which houses one of the biggest bells in the whole of China.
The second half of the day will centre around the old Hutong district and its characterful old houses. We’ll explore the hidden gems of the neighbourhood and take a Rickshaw Tour to see more without getting tired.
Xian is world-famous because of its Terracotta Army, a type of burial art that has astounded ancient historians since its recent discovery. You’ll get to witness first-hand the hundreds of life-sized soldiers buried with the Emperor and our guides will make it extra special.
Our evening will be slightly more active as we take a slow bike ride along the Ming Dynasty city walls to unearth more awesome facts about Xian and its rich history.
Our final day in the city of Xian allows us to explore the Muslim Quarter with our walking tour that goes off the beaten path into exciting areas that most tourists miss out on. We’ll also take a morning stop at the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, built in 652 and encompassing marvellous engraved Buddhist statutes brought from India.
We’ll jump aboard the train to Chengdu in the afternoon!
Your first venture into Chengdu is a trip to the famous Panda Research Centre. This centre is designed to help with the breeding of rare pandas, where you get to witness these unique and beautiful creatures up close.
The second part of the day is all about the local food culture. We’ll start our food tour by heading to the exciting and vibrant Jinli Street which has over 500 metres of traditional stores, inns and snacks. We’ll cap off our adventure with an exclusive afternoon tea ceremony special to the area and try the famous Chengdu hotpot together.
Our second day in Chengdu is a spiritual journey. We start the day at the Wenshu Monastery where our guests can learn to meditate and enjoy a delicious vegetarian buffet within the monastery.
Our afternoon consists of a visit to the Du Fu Thatched Cottage, a museum-park dedicated to a famous Chinese poet. Know who it was? You’ll learn all about it with our private guides. We’ll even enjoy a tea ceremony at the park.
Later that evening we take a short flight (approx. 90 mins) to Zhangjiajie.
If you love nature, you will be blown away by what Zhangjiajie has in store for visitors. The Zhangjiajie National Park is a vision straight out of a painter’s mind. We take you there to safely explore the Tianzi Mountains, which were the Hallelujah Mountains in the film Avatar!
Bring your camera!
Zhangjiajie is also home to the world’s tallest glass bridge and thrill-seekers love it. High above the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon you can walk along this bridge of engineering brilliance (if you dare!). After, we enjoy a cable car to the top of Tianmen Mountain with panoramic views for miles.
Take some time to relax in the morning and prepare for your flight to Shanghai. Once in Shanghai, you can do some more relaxing as you settle into your luxury hotel suite. In the evening, we dive into the heart of Shanghai’s nightlife by checking out The Bund, The Oriental Pearl Radio & Television Tower.
